Empowering Lives, Restoring Dignity: The Vision and Mission of KREDF

In a world where inequality still casts a long shadow, Kairali Rural Employment Development Foundation (KREDF) emerges as a beacon of compassion, purpose, and hope. Founded by Shri P. K. Gopala Krishnan and operating from Jubilee Junction, Perinthalmanna, KREDF is more than just a charitable trust—it is a community movement dedicated to transforming rural lives, particularly those of the differently-abled and economically marginalized.

---

Our Vision

To build an inclusive rural society where every individual—regardless of physical ability, economic status, or social standing—has the opportunity to live with dignity, access essential resources, and contribute meaningfully to their community.

We envision a future where no child is left behind due to disability, no family is burdened by the cost of essential medicines, and no rural youth is denied the right to earn a livelihood.

---

Our Mission

KREDF exists to:

1. Support the Differently-Abled with Care and Continuity

We provide sustained aid to children and adults with physical and intellectual disabilities—delivering essentials like medicines, diapers, and daily care resources, ensuring their basic needs are never compromised.

2. Empower through Employment

Through skill development programs and micro-funding, KREDF promotes self-reliance by creating rural employment opportunities. We nurture entrepreneurship at the grassroots level by offering daily microfunds and small grants to help people build a life of dignity.

3. Promote Social Inclusion

We challenge stigma by fostering empathy, organizing inclusive events, and building support networks. Our mission is not just to give—it is to listen, engage, and uplift every voice that has long gone unheard.

4. Respond to Daily Needs, Sustainably

With our KREDF Daily Microfund, we respond quickly and consistently to the recurring needs of families, providing a dependable system of aid that makes a real difference every single day.

---

Our Values

Compassion without compromise

Accountability to the community we serve

Equity in access and opportunity

Transparency in operation

Resilience in action

---

Real People. Real Impact.

Every rupee channeled through KREDF reaches someone in need—an elderly caregiver, a child with multiple disabilities, or a mother choosing between food and medicine. Our work is a daily act of solidarity with those too often overlooked.

---

Join Us in This Mission

KREDF is not just an organization—it is a family of volunteers, donors, and community leaders led by the unwavering dedication of G. K. Menon (Contact: +91 75949 49626). Together, we can turn compassion into action and vision into reality.

If our mission resonates with you, we invite you to join us—through donations, volunteering, or simply by sharing our story. Let us build a society where inclusion is the norm, not the exception.

๐ŸŒŸ Success Story: From Homemaker to Entrepreneur — The Journey of Sajitha

๐Ÿ“  Beneficiary of KREDF Community Revolving Fund

Until recently, Sajitha, a 38-year-old homemaker from a small village near Perinthalmanna, had never imagined running a business of her own. With two children in school and a husband with irregular daily wages, managing household expenses was a daily challenge.

That changed when Sajitha became part of a women’s self-help group (SHG) supported by KREDF. Through regular meetings and training sessions, she learned about the interest-free revolving fund offered to members of the KREDF community.

With support from her group and approval from the local committee, Sajitha received an interest-free loan of ₹12,000 from the fund. Her goal? To start a small snack-making business from her home.

๐Ÿ”ง What She Did

Used ₹8,000 to buy a basic stove, utensils, and raw materials.

Used ₹4,000 to package and market her homemade banana chips and spicy mixtures at local tea shops.

Received business mentoring through a KREDF volunteer.
